I read the first part of this when you first posted it but then decided to wait reading the rest until it was finished because it made me flail so much and I just wasn't patient enough to endure the cliffhangers. And it was totally worth the wait. I really enjoyed this - the chemistry between Alaric and Damon, the characterizations, everything. ♥
