Thank you! And yes, I can only imagine that Dean was pretty lonely without Sam. Sam missed him during the Stanford era too, I'd think, but his love for Dean would have been complicated by his anger towards their father and reluctance to be a hunter, And with school and his friends and Jess, he would've had considerably more to distract him. Nothing like spending hours and hours in a car to give you time to navel-gaze and miss your little brother. :P
