I've been thinking it would be fun to revive this journal, for fic and (maybe even more so) for getting more involved with the Supernatural fandom. I've been in love with the show for 6 years, but except for writing some fic and reblogging a lot on Tumblr (and occasionally generating a little content there), I've mostly been a lurker. It'd be nice to change that.

So I'm leaving this as a sticky for anyone who drops by. Feel free to friend me!

A little about me and Supernatural: I mainlined the first seven seasons during the summer after S7 and have been watching live ever since. I love Sam and Dean equally and cannot choose between them; my love for Cas is not far behind. (I may also be a little in love with Jody, especially since she became such a silver fox. And I fucking adore Donna. And Jack. And a ton of other characters too.) I miss Crowley and I bromance ship him so hard with all of Team Free Will. I ship Wincest/iel (but understand that not everyone is comfortable with incest ships and would never try to force anyone to discuss it who didn't want to), Destiel, Sastiel, and anything else that sparks my interest. I will mercilessly critique and mock and rag on the show, but I promise, it's with all the love in the entire world. I've been to two cons and hope to go to more one day.

tl;dr I will talk anything about the show to death if given the slightest opportunity, just try me.

My fic on AO3 (not just Supernatural, but it's easily filtered)
My Tumblr (a huge mish-mash of fandoms, cute animals, nature, politics, and anything else I feel like, but there is a lot of SPN stuff)

I've been missing Show this week. Supernatural Day on Monday got me thinking about it and it's hitting me hard that this is the first September in 9 years that I can't start getting hyped for the start of a new season. :( I miss those boys.

But I'll always be thankful that we got 15 seasons, all of which had loads of stuff that I enjoyed, even my least favorite seasons/episodes. I know I haven't written any posts or fics for (yikes) about six months, but I'm not gone! I'm still here to comment and enjoy content, and I'm sure I'll write more fic in the future. Maybe soon? Maybe?? I'm signed up for the Reverse Bang, so perhaps something there will strike my fancy, or I'll make some progress on one of my dusty WIPs. And writing fic is a good cure for post-Show blues.

In the meantime, thanks to everyone who's continued to be better than I have about posting. I love to see it. <3

Oh man I'm never going to be able to get up from this TNT marathon - they keep putting little bits of the actors talking about the episodes they're featuring!! What I've caught so far:

-Misha talking during "The French Mistake" about playing "Misha" as just the stereotypically worst jerk of an actor and then his manager called him to congratulate him on finally getting to play himself on TV, LOL! Paraphrased from memory: "He wasn't joking, and I felt very bad about myself for a couple weeks."

-Jim Beaver talking about "Death's Door" and not realizing it was really the end for Bobby until they threw him a goodbye party (of course, he's in a lot of the rest of S7 as a ghost, and then at least once a season since, thankfully!)

-Mark Sheppard talking about "Sacrifice" as his favorite episode because of so much going on with all the Heaven/Hell machinations but especially because he got to play Crowley turning human. (I was excited because I'd been thinking before his bit came on that "Sacrifice" is probably my favorite Crowley episode for that very reason! He was always a delight as Crowley, but he really knocks it out of the park there.)

I've gone ahead and recorded the rest of the marathon so I can go through later and check for more goodies! And now I don't have to stay in my living room. Though I will probably be in here watching a lot anyway, lol.

I rewatched S15E8 today, "Our Father, Who Aren't In Heaven." Man, what a good one! Chuck is creepy, Donatello is his usual fun self, The Queen of Hell!Rowena reveal is delightful, and the Michael/Adam story is great. Getting Adam out of the Cage was on my bucket list for the last season, and I love what they did with it. Michael and Adam being friends is RIGHT up my alley and I really have to write fic about them one of these days.

Also, Jake Abel knocks it out of the park. I remember being less than impressed by him as Michael in S5 - not that he was awful or anything, he just seemed a little flat. Maybe I'm misremembering, as it's been awhile since I watched "Swan Song." If I am remembering right, perhaps he's honed his acting skills in the last decade or maybe it's just that he has a lot more to do in "Our Father," but in any case, he blew me away. He differentiated Adam and Michael so well; even when he wasn't speaking, it's obvious from the expression on his face who it is. Heck, even when he IS speaking it's a triumph - it's not like he does wildly different voices for them, but it's still so clear.

Much as I don't want Show to end, this rewatch is getting me PUMPED for the last batch of new episodes!!

Flist (and SPN fandom in general), I just wanted to say how thankful I am for all of you. I love it that I can sign in here and see everyone's amazing content, and I'm very happy to have gotten to know some of you personally a bit these past couple years.

This week the community has been especially important to me, with all the tributes on social media marking the end of filming. I've been very emotional about it. It means so much to know that there are others going through the same thing, and to be able to commiserate with and support each other. SPN Family is truly the best!! <3 <3 <3

Oh my goodness, has everyone seen the new EW shoot? I haven't read the article yet - my focus is kind of crap today so I'll try after I've relaxed a bit post-work - but the cover with J2M...*cries* It's just so soft. Most of the pictures in this shoot are. MY HEART!

Title: King of Target
Genre: Gen
Characters: Sam, demons, a smidge of Dean
Rating: Teen/PG-13
Word Count: 643
Disclaimer: All for fun, none for profit.
Summary: Sam makes the world's weirdest Target run.
Warnings/tags: Crack, author trying to be funny
A/N: Way back in freaking November, the wonderful [livejournal.com profile] roxymissrose inspired me to write about Target as a hellgate and King of Hell!Sam, and this ficlet just kind of came out of me. I should have posted it right away but I thought maybe I would make it better and maybe I would incorporate some of the ideas she came up with after I had written it in half an hour like a possessed creature...and it sat and it sat and it sat... Long story short, I have made no improvements and incorporated no more of her great ideas and it may not be much good at all, but when I read it over it made me laugh so I hope it gives other people a smile, too.

FOR YOU, [livejournal.com profile] roxymissrose! (If you want it; don't feel obligated. XD) You're welcome/I'm sorry.

Happy Halloween, all! I've been having fun writing drabbles for the [livejournal.com profile] spn_bigpretzel Halloween drabble challenge this week. You can see them all in the community, along with everyone else's great drabbles and art. I don't want to flood everyone's flists by reposting mine on this journal, but they are collected here on my AO3 for anyone who's interested.

Happy spoopy!

Title: Invisible Touch
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Characters: Sam Winchester, Dean Winchester, female witch OC
Rating: Explicit/NC-17
Word Count: 6,520
Disclaimer: All for fun, none for profit.
Summary: A witch with mind control powers makes Sam and Dean have sex with each other for the first time, forcing them to confront their desire for one other. Afterwards, they find their way back to intimacy and to healing.
Warnings/tags: Sibling incest, non-con, first time, mind control, mind control aftermath and recovery, mind rape, blow jobs, anal sex, kissing, making out, hand jobs, telepathy, guilt, shame, emotional hurt/comfort, explicit images embedded
A/N: This was written for the [livejournal.com profile] wincestbigbang. Please show my always-wonderful artist [livejournal.com profile] blindswandive some love on the art masterpost! I can't thank you enough for the ridiculously gorgeous art. Many thanks also to my dear friend Nevanna for an extremely helpful beta job on this story.

Title: Casa Erotica: Brotherly Love
Genre: Slash
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Characters: Sam, Dean, Gabriel, Castiel
Rating: Explicit/NC-17
Word Count: 563
Disclaimer: All for fun, none for profit.
Summary: A missing scene from "Changing Channels." Because there is no way Gabriel wouldn't have thrown a Casa Erotica in the TV show lineup.
Warnings/tags: Sibling incest, just a little porn, humor, implied barebacking, oral sex, anal sex
A/N: Written for the Swan Song Bingo, Changing Channels square (season 5).

Title: Women of Letters
Genre: Gen, some implied attraction but not full-on shipping
Characters: Eileen Leahy, Jody Mills, Donna Hanscum
Rating: Teen/PG-13
Word Count: 568
Disclaimer: All for fun, none for profit.
Summary: Eileen goes for a drink with Jody and Donna.
Warnings/tags: Alcohol, humor
A/N: Written for the Swan Song Bingo, Eileen Leahy square (season 11). I like this vignette, but am rather embarrassed about how thoroughly it fails the Bechdel test. However, this is the idea that I had and this bingo is almost over! I'm hoping to one day do a piece (perhaps a longer one? maybe even featuring actual plot??) which does more justice to these three amazing ladies that I love so much. I think they would have been a spectacular team.

Title: Dark Horse
Genre: Gen, character study
Characters: Sam Winchester
Rating: Teen/PG-13
Word Count: 512
Disclaimer: All for fun, none for profit.
Summary: A brief exploration of what Sam experienced when he had visions.
Warnings/tags: Kind of a prose poem
A/N: Written for the Swan Song Bingo, Psychic!Sam square (season 2). Inspired mostly by a re-watch of S2E5 "Simon Said" (hence the sprained wrist) but hopefully applies well across the board for Sam's visions. I kind of struggled with this one but I hope I came up with something worth reading for anyone who'd like to give it a shot.

Title: Your Amazing Grace
Genre: Gen, character study
Characters: Kelly Kline, literal fetus Jack Kline
Rating: Teen/PG-13
Word Count: 714
Disclaimer: All for fun, none for profit.
Summary: An exploration of Kelly's experience being pregnant with Jack.
Warnings/tags: canon character death, suicide attempt, pregnancy, psychic bond
A/N: Written for the Swan Song Bingo, Kelly Kline square (season 12). Title from Louden Swain's song "Amazing." I got really curious about Kelly's unique pregnancy, thanks to the few tantalizing lines we get about it from her (and from Jack). It sounded so fascinating, I wanted to explore what it might have been like.

Title: calling from a land line
Genre: Gen or slash
Pairing: Dean/Castiel
Characters: Dean
Rating: Mature/R (for swearing)
Word Count: 553
Disclaimer: All for fun, none for profit.
Summary: A handful of Dean's prayers to Castiel when they were in Purgatory, in the form of a prose-y poem.
Warnings/tags: Angst, swearing, poetry, kind of an unhappy ending (but we know from canon that Cas will be back)
A/N: Written for the Swan Song Bingo, Purgatory!Dean square (season 8). You can choose to read this with slash goggles or not; it's about as shippy as they get on the show (which, let's be honest, is fairly shippy if you want to read it that way). I don't think I've ever done fic-as-poetry before and I really enjoyed it! I hope you all do, too.

Characters: Crowley
Rating: Teen/PG-13
Word Count: 810
Disclaimer: All for fun, none for profit.
Summary: A character study of Crowley and his emotions during his blood addiction and a little beyond.
Warnings/tags: Drug use/addiction (but the drug here is blood or more specifically emotion); reference to torture; portentous ending thanks to canon so I guess oblique reference to canon character death
A/N: Written for the Swan Song Bingo, Blood Junkie!Crowley square (season 9). Title from the song "Feelings" by Morris Albert.

Title: Shag Or Die
Pairing: Sam/Rowena
Rating: Explicit/NC-17
Word Count: 2,027
Disclaimer: All for fun, none for profit.
Summary: Sam is hit with a sex magic death curse. Good thing Rowena is there to keep him alive.
Warnings/tags: fuck or die, sex curse, PIV sex, cunnilingus, humor
A/N: Written for the SPN Kink Bingo, the SamRowena square. Set sometime in season 14 but it's not particularly important except that Sam and Rowena are definitely allies and friends, not enemies. What a delight this was to write. I've never written Rowena before and I LOVE HER. She has the most wonderful voice.
