Very entertaining!
I've been watching a lot of the Vampire Diaries recently, and this Lucifer really reminds me of Damon, a character there. You think he is just totally evil at first, then gradually you see him doing things that make you question your first judgement, and then he starts saving people's lives and pretty soon, reluctantly or not, the characters are considering him a friend.
But I am starting to question if Luci is really just a part of Sam, or is he actually Lucifer... I am one who feels badly for Luci (how he was influenced by the Mark) and would have liked to see him redeemed on the show (as was Damon), so I enjoy imagining that possibility as well.
I like how you tie it in with the Season 8 issue of WHY DIDN'T SAM LOOK FOR DEAN? as well. I like to think that it was his psychological exhaustion/depression left over from Hallucifer, and you just went a bit further with that 😊
