Isn't is awesome and great- that the back story to the necklace would never had happen, if Jensen has not taken the time to sift through the Prop box of baubles and jewelry : because he figured this guys is into hunting ghost and Demons and what not, this guy would definitely be covered in protections charms, or trinkets or type of bracelets (almost his words) and then last he pulled out this pendant on a leather cord and he thought perfect, slips it on and walks on to set. Kirpke saw it and he took a second and nodded to Jensen and said "all right I'll find a story to fit that in"
