Thanks to everyone who left numbers for this meme! If anyone else would like to pick some or anyone who already chose would like to pick more, have at it. I love these!
amberdreams's picks:
2. Would you rather be a nephilim or an angel?
I think a nephilim - I guess it would be dangerous (especially back in the day when they were officially all Abominations What Must Die), but I'd get to keep some of my humanity. And (with a few exceptions) the angels are all such jerks. :P
15. One thing you wish to happen before the show ends?
There are a number of things, but I think my biggest is to SAVE POOR ADAM. Jeebus, he did not deserve to be stuck in the Cage all these years.
27. Most underrated moment or episode?
It would be hard to pin down "most," but: one episode I adore which doesn't seem to get talked about much is "Sam, Interrupted." There is so much great comedy (that opening scene where they convince the doctor they're crazy by just explaining the plot of the last couple seasons is AMAZING; not to mention "Pudding!!" and drugged-up!Sam). It's also utterly heartbreaking, when they shine a light on Sam and Dean's issues and Dean's awful, awful living habits (sleeping 3-4 hours every COUPLE OF NIGHTS and drinking 50something drinks a week, yiiikes). And I think it's a good story and a creepy monster. It isn't as spectacularly funny or emotional as some other other episodes, so I understand why it gets overlooked, but I think it's so strong.
supernutjapan's picks:
11. Scoobynatural or The French Mistake?
I love both of these SO MUCH but I have to go with The French Mistake. I've loved Ben Edlund's writing for a long time and my mind was absolutely blown by a fourth-wall break that intense. Everyone is so funny in it, and all the in-jokes are such a treat. I watch it when I need cheering up.
25. Gender swap, switching bodies, human Baby episode?
I want all of these but my top choice is switching bodies!! I'm forever infuriated by "Swap Meat," which was the biggest wasted opportunity. How do you do a body swap and not have Sam and Dean swap?!?! The freaking Charmed reboot did a body swap before the end of their first season! AARGH. Ideally, I would like Cas to get in there too, so Misha, Jared, and Jensen can each play all three roles. But I'd settle for Sam and Dean. HOW HAVE THEY NEVER DONE THIS?! (Sorry
supernutjapan, you hit one of my rants LOLOL!)
29. Be stuck in alternate!Kaia’s universe or Michael’s universe?
Oh geez. XD They are both so awful. I guess Michael's because maybe I'd die quickly in an angel fireball attack. I have no survival skills so I'd probably starve to death in Kaia's if I didn't get eaten right away. XD
roxymissrose's picks:
6. What color do you think Cas’ wings are?
Boringly, I always think of them as black because I didn't really think about it until later that we were seeing the shadows so they could be any color! So now when I picture them, I always see them black.
17. Death 1.0 or Billie?
OH NO HOW DO I PICK, I LOVE THEM BOTH SO MUCH!! XD I find Death 1.0 more fun, especially in his interactions with Dean, which are always amazing, and he's so scary. But I looooove Billie. She's such a BAMF! And a woman of color! And gorgeous and the actress does such a great job! AARGH. Gun to my head, I'd go with 1.0 because I love watching him even more, but it's a real Sophie's choice.
26. Best side character?
Damn, there are so many to choose from! I'm not including Jack, Crowley, or Bobby, since they were/are regulars or close. I love Garth, Ellen, Donna, Rowena, Meg, and a million others, but I'll go with Jody. She's had such an amazing journey. She has so much heart and personality and kicks ass. Also she's hot. :D
verucasalt123's picks:
10. Least favorite season(s)?
Season 12. The BMOL did little to nothing for me. The writers only got me to like Mick right before they killed him, and I hated Ketch. (Though after S13 I actually came to really like him, but IMO he sucks in 12.) The Mary stuff is painful, the other actors playing Lucifer don't really have it...There are a few episodes I really like, and I was happy when Mark Pellegrino returned, but overall, meh.
13. Opinions on John?
-_- Not a fan. I know he was traumatized by Mary's death and I'm not unsympathetic to that, but that doesn't excuse the choices he made for his sons. The way he treated Dean, especially, infuriates me. I have kind of a knee-jerk protective response for Sam and Dean that makes it difficult for me to feel much sympathy for him. That said, I personally disagree with some people's interpretation that he was physically abusive or a complete monster. I think he was neglectful and probably caused them emotional trauma (especially Dean), but I think he loved them very much and expressed that love to them as best he could. I don't think the boys would have grown up as loving as they are if he hadn't.

Date: 2019-06-08 01:36 am (UTC)Jody has become a very special character to me on Show. I love her because she loves the boys the way I wish Mary had.
I also love all the random sheriffs they've interviewed through the years. :D
Another thing I love about Show is that they're pretty good, IMO, in representing POC. Billie, the Barnes, Cesar--more of course but that's off the top of my head. The fact they chose Lisa Berry to be the new Death made me very happy because they gave us a strong character without any of the stereotypical strong woman blather. And she 's hot as hell. Mind you, I agree with your choice of Original Death. He might have been a bit on the nose, but Julian was just an amazing entertaining Death!

Date: 2019-06-08 04:52 pm (UTC)I wish they'd ever had women and/or POC as regular characters (like on the same level as Misha, Mark, Alex, or even Jim Beaver) but I agree that they've done a good job with the representation they've had, and I think they've gotten much better with it over the years. Having Lisa Berry as the new Death was a huge step. :D (I also love that they have no need to tell you how strong she is - they just show it perfectly.) You're right that original Death was a little obvious, but yeah, SO entertaining and Julian did a fantastic job.
